I didn’t really have much to do while I was in the lab on Monday so I decided to work up some computer specs to keep busy. I never got around to posting them. I broke things up into 5 levels and assigned a numbering scheme. I hadn’t thought much about price, cause that is no fun. So I just went off Dell’s pricing levels, minus their rebates. Their cheap systems pain me, actually all their systems pain me, but that is another story. I’ll put the prices next to the systems, I’ve not thought about them much so I wouldn’t be surprised if one of you discovered some reason why they won’t work. I suspect they might be a tad high. Damn you Michael Dell.
On a side note I’ve discovered I have a love hate relationship with this sort of stuff. I love planing, building and owning this sort of stuff. However, if I spend to much time looking at outrageous equipment I get a bit depressed knowing that chances are I’ll probably never own whatever random bit of technology I was looking at. Did I mention that I’m getting a new cell phone this weekend? Heheh.
Alright, enough of that! Go find somebody to buy a computer so I can feed my addiction!
