Sticking it to the man
Or in this case the wall. I saw this little animated gif after clicking on some random link about a power supply. Needless to say I thought it was really damn cool. If I had to be a stick figure I’d want to be that guy.

First few days of class are done. I think thinks are going to be shaping up pretty well, assuming my Senior Project doesn’t suddenly decide to jump the tracks half way through and kill everybody onboard. I get to help design and create a video game for one of my classes. Its nice to have a class full of gamers and geeky types. I feel right at home.
After living with A/C for two years I was worried that I might not have too much fun in a room with no A/C and a pile of heat generating computer equipment. So far no problems, it heats up mid afternoon, but I’m usually at class then so by the time I’m back the air has cooled a bit and the fans have done their job. After worrying about being too hot during the day, I had to chuckle when I heard that our hot water system was stuck on Boil Alive.
… almost anyway. This layout works better for what I have in mind and it is not so hard to pick colors for. If you happened to drop by when I had the previous three column look, it wasn’t very pretty. Infact if you saw the colors the last day or so you could tell I was having issues.
A few things left to thrash out, mostly little such a placment of things and perhaps tweaking the image up top. One thing you might notice is that there is now an ad on the site and I may ad a second one along the way. Right now Google has an older version of the site in its cache, so it doesn’t quite know what to do about the front page. Thats the reason why it is displaying public service ads. Not that there is anything wrong with saving costal waters or stopping hunger. But some can get a bit weird. I don’t think it should take more than a few days to a week for google to come back an crawl the site. Strangly enough the subpages all get an ad that sort of goes with its content.
Bottom line is that if you decide to click an ad while you are here, I get a few cents, which is a few more than I had before. Feel free to make a sense joke, I couldn’t think of one.
UPDATE: Housekeeping style. I’m getting rid of The hunt and Science sections. The reason behind the hunt getting the boot is clear, its done, no jeweled insect goodness for us it seems.
Science may come back if a new fount of stupid human tricks is discovered or somebody gets a new contusion. Hey, thats what college is for right?
The posts themselves won’t go away, but they won’t be held safe in their own categories. On the off chance anybody actually wants to see them, use the search and on the off and that somebody wants to use the search, well, thats a good one, I’ll have to think about that.
The time has come.
The site been a bit neglected over the past few months. A change is coming, its been brewing for awhile in the back of my head. I can’t decide if it will be the end of the site as we know it or not. Or if it simply needs swift kick in pants in order to be revitalized. Hopefully by the end of this week the transformation will have begun and I will know in what course things will take.
I do know this much. As of this moment I will be using the creekjumper title as part a tentative name for my creative efforts and part of the change to the site will reflect the need to give the new name its own space.
Oh, and in case anybody cares, the latest trip vid will be ready shortly.
UPDATE: Its started and its going to be messy. Give it a day or so.
Following a slow start Dodge Ball Team Oh Wow, return to the field for its second pair of matches. Filled with a sense determination and a new “Don’t be stupid” game plan the team was ready to unleash on whoever faced them.
I’m proud to report that after two hard fought matches the team emerged victorious. I think its safe to say that the other teams didn’t know what hit them… well, except that guy who got it in the nuts. I’m sure he knew what hit him.
So far Oh Wow has lived up to its name, proving that the other teams can never be sure what they are dealing with.
Until next time.
Let’s decide what our next footage is going to be of.
Maybe some fence jumping, pole hopping, bike ditching
I don’t know but we need some new material to laugh at.
No one has posted anything recently. Just wanted to see if next weekend anyone wanted to creekhop? It’s the anniversary of the original, you know- April 24th. Any takers?
The Rock

Here is a collection of forums and discussion areas.
The last one is very disorganized but has a ton of other links in it. I’ll sort through them later and add the useful ones. Anyway, these are the ones I’m aware of now, I’m sure more can be found with a little more searching. If I have some extra time tonight I’ll add a few more.
